God states: "For the WORD of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of the soul and the spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
Is this not what the perfect support group should be like? Is this not the perfect outline for every avenue of help we sign up for!
However, we are constantly being sold HOT AIR and USELESS information for our healing process and how we should value ourselves. We are not defined by our disability! I am not disabled Tom, I am Tom with a disability…and daily actively surviving… NOT A SURVIVOR!
Why do our helpers nearly totally neglect our deepest need to be acknowledged for who we are today? Why is a "New Normal," "Thriving," and "Brain Power" so important to them when we are looking for Understanding, Wisdom, and the skills to just stay alive from moment to moment, day to day?
“God is our refuge and strength and very present to help in time of trouble,” nobody else. We need human support but why not support with the seasoning of pepper and salt from God, the Creator Himself! Why not? Jesus is the WORD in the flesh, go to Him and read HIS Word and live the best you can.
